Our fire protection collection includes two categories that complement each other perfectly:
- The fireproof safeis the right choice if you want to store a larger quantity of documents and valuables centrally, securely, and fireproof. It protects the contents for 30 minutes at up to 843 °C (UL72-certified) and is also waterproof according to IP67 – meaning it is also protected against extinguishing water and moisture. With an internal volume of 6.5 liters, it offers space for documents up to A4 format, and its own weight of 9 kg ensures that it cannot simply be carried away in an emergency.
- The fire-resistant document bagis the flexible companion for on the go or as additional protection within an existing safe. It withstands temperatures up to 1093 °C, is VTM-0 certified according to UL-94 standard and protects your most important papers with a 4-layer construction. Two separate compartments provide order for passports, contracts and securities, an integrated safety reflector helps with quick retrieval in smoke or poor visibility.
What to look for when buying
Not every product labeled "fireproof" delivers on its promise. Look for recognized certifications like UL 72 or UL 94, which set clear testing standards for duration and temperature. Equally important is protection against extinguishing water – a fire almost always ends with water use, which destroys unprotected documents as much as the fire itself. An IP67 certification is the current standard here.
