Terms and Conditions
1. Scope and Conclusion of Contract
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all sales contracts concluded via paladinsafe.ch with private customers and companies domiciled or based in Switzerland.
The sales contract is concluded upon your order and our acceptance. Acceptance is confirmed by an automatic order confirmation sent via email. If this is not received within a reasonable period, it is considered a rejection of the offer, and you are not bound by the order.
2. Products
Please always observe the safety instructions on the product packaging. We assume no liability for improper use – especially by children under 3 years of age. We reject any liability claims due to damage to persons, animals, or property, unless gross negligence is involved.
3. Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include value-added tax as well as any advance recycling and processing fees.
For orders under CHF 100.–, a flat shipping fee of CHF 6.95 will be charged. Shipping is free for orders with a value of CHF 100.– or more.
Prices are subject to change at any time. The price at the time of the order is decisive.
4. Delivery
Deliveries are made exclusively within Switzerland. Standard delivery time is usually 1–2 business days. On particularly busy days (e.g., before holidays), delays may occur.
The shipping status can be viewed online. Partial deliveries due to stock shortages will be made postage-free. Compensation for damages due to delivery delays is excluded, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.
5. Payment
The following payment methods are available:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX)
- TWINT
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Klarna (various Klarna payment methods subject to availability)
Payment processing is secure and encrypted via our payment service providers. We do not store complete payment data.
By choosing Klarna, you accept Klarna's terms of use in addition to these GTC. The availability of the respective Klarna payment option requires a positive review by Klarna.
6. Notice of Defects and Warranty
We warrant for 24 months from delivery that our products meet the described properties and are suitable for the intended use (Art. 210 OR).
Please check the goods immediately upon receipt and report any defects in writing within 8 days to info@marein.ch. A payment does not constitute a waiver of the right to claim defects.
In case of justified defects, we will, at our discretion, provide a free repair or replacement delivery. The return must be unused and in its original packaging.
7. Voluntary Right of Return (14 days)
In Switzerland, there is no legal right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, we voluntarily grant you a 14-day right of return if you do not like a product for any reason.
7.1 Conditions
- You report the return via form within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- The goods are unused and in their original packaging.
- Labels and any seals are undamaged.
7.2 Return Shipping Costs
You bear the costs of the return shipment yourself, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
7.3 Refund
After receipt and inspection of the return, we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method within 14 days.
7.4 Exceptions
The voluntary right of return does not apply to, in particular:
- Custom-made and personalized products
- Reduced items
- Hygiene articles, if the seal has been removed
- Safety-relevant products that have already been put into operation, where resale is not possible for safety reasons
The legal right to claim defects and warranty (Section 6) remains unaffected.
8. Transport Damages
We cover transport damages. Please have these confirmed in writing by the delivery service and report the damages to us immediately at info@marein.ch.
9. Liability for Online Connections
We strive for the highest security standards in our systems. Nevertheless, we are not liable for damages resulting from:
- Failures or security vulnerabilities of third-party providers
- Force majeure
- Improper use by customers or third parties
- Cyberattacks (viruses, worms, etc.)
10. Data Protection
The collection, processing, and use of your personal data are carried out within the framework of our data protection policy, which you can view at any time on paladinsafe.ch.
11. Jurisdiction and Choice of Law
Swiss law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Baden, AG.
